Corydon Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

The Reverend Rick Harting graduated from Christian Theological Seminary in May of 2016 with a Masters of Divinity.  During his time in Seminary, he served Avon Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) as a Youth Minister and St. Paul Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) as their solo Pastor.  Before Rick went into ministry, he was an elementary school teacher in Indianapolis, Indiana for 14 years.  He received a B.S. degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Jr. High / Middle School History from Indiana State University.  Rick and his wife of 19 years, Rachel, have two children.  Jeremy is a junior at Marian University in Indianapolis.  Carissa is a 4th grader at Corydon Intermediate School.

Rick comes to Corydon Christian Church and Salem United Church of Christ with a passion for the Good News of God in Jesus Christ, particularly as it is manifested in worship, prayer, study and service.
